Well... now you've got me crying like a blubbering idiot! But in a good way. This made me really wish I'd known Amy's grandpa. He sounds a lot like my own father. Dad was a photography buff, too - which is why Mom has an entire closet devoted to slide carousels. 100's and 100's of pictures of days gone by. I may have to spend a day (or more like a week) watching them and reminiscing one of these days. Thanks for sharing your talents, Dave!

Wow Dave! This brought tears to my eyes. Reminds me of my grandpa, who as you know, suffered that horrible disease as well. I've really been thinking of Amy & you lately. It's a tough thing to go through when a grandparent passes away, but I'm sure you find comfort in knowing he is no longer suffering. We love you both and keep you all in our prayers. Dave, you always seem to amaze me with your incredible way with words.

Dave, this really touched my heart. Your way with words is amazing. Photographs really are watercolors of the past, aren't they?
